"Hay"
Field in Motion – Limited Edition Giclée Print
Original charcoal drawing selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2025
Experience the fleeting beauty of late summer through this expressive fine art print. “Hay Field in Motion” is inspired by the feeling of lying in tall grass, immersed in the rhythm of nature and the vitality of the wind moving through a golden hay field. This piece captures that quiet, powerful sense of presence — the energy of being truly alive in the moment.
This year, both my Sister and father died. One part of the subject of this drawing is a depiction of the beginning of healing, letting them go. As if the wind is breath. Being in the moment, lying in a field in the summer with the wind blowing through the hay field. Still alive.
Originally drawn in charcoal, this artwork was selected for the prestigious Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2025, running until August 17th.
